Potters Bar Station
Work on replacement of the station canopies is
due to commence on the weekend of 7th April and will last for 9 weekends. The
station will be closed each weekend and a bus replacement service will be
operating.
Potters Bar Society AGM
The Society AGM is to be held at 7:30 pm on
Thursday 17th May at Tilbury Hall.
Station Tree
The recently removed dead tree, by the station
forecourt, is to be replaced with an oak tree.
Sunnybank School
The Schools Adjudicator has up held the decision
to close Sunnybank School, subject to the extension to Cranborne School getting
planning permission. The school is to close in summer 2008.
Storers
Herts County Council
have served an Enforcement Notice on Storers, who have appealed against it.
The Oakmere Public House and Restaurant
A planning application has
been made to increase the seating capacity of the restaurant and reduce the
capacity of the bar, as part of plans for the Oakmere to become part of the
Harvester chain of pub restaurants.
Cattlegate Farm
A footpath at Cattlegate Farm has been confirmed
as a public footpath, enabling a link between Theobalds Estate and Cuffley.
Storer's Planning Application
This has been unanimously turned down
by Hertfordshire County Council
