Walks Programme

A series of walks looking at local countryside and making use of local footpaths.

If you are interested in furthering your knowledge and understanding of the
local environment in and around Potters Bar, then these walks should appeal.

Our aims are:-

Route:    Walk to Potterells Farm via Bell Bar and Foxes Lane. Return via Hawkshead Bridge.    9.6 km

Route:    CANCELLED. We regret this walk has had to be cancelled due to to the leader suffering an ankle injury.    11.3km

Route:    Walk to Theobalds Manor via Silver Street and return via Wood Green Farm.    6.5 km

Route:    Walk to Dyrham Park via Saffron Green. Return via Kitts End and urban fringe.    10.3 km

Sun Aug 16th    2:15pm Junction of Bell Lane and Great North Road (A1000), Bell Bar (opposite Woodside Lane) (TL 253 053)     
Route:    Walk to Wild Hill via Grubbs Lane and back. (Caution: this walk passes through the transmitting station).    8.5 km
